Brad Basler is a dedicated lifelong Republican running for County Council in District 6 of Jefferson County, Missouri.
Brad Basler, the owner of Crystal Coin and Jewelers, has a background that is as colorful as the gems in his store. Born and raised in Festus, Brad spent many years working in retail before returning home to care for his aging family and the community in which he was raised. His career in retail and as a private financial investor has equipped him with the knowledge, training, and expertise to guide customers in their quest for the perfect ring or to invest in hard assets like coins and bullion.
In 2011, Brad bought the old Adolph’s Jewelry store in Crystal City, MO, and renamed it Crystal Coin and Jewelers. The store has been a fixture in the Crystal City Festus community for over 70 years, with a reputation for honesty and quality service. Brad's dedication to providing a knowledgeable, friendly, and safe environment for customers to learn about coins, bullion, and jewelry is a testament to his commitment to the community and the industry.
Deeply committed to the economic revitalization of the area, Brad focuses his campaign on lowering taxes, reducing the size of government, and fostering meaningful business growth to provide high-paying jobs for local graduates. Brad is particularly concerned about reversing the stagnant economic policies under the current leadership, which have been detrimental to business development in the county. With a firm belief in the principles of smaller government and enhanced opportunities for the youth, Brad Basler seeks to bring fresh business acumen and a revitalizing energy to the Jefferson County Board.
Our young people should not need to leave the county to find good paying jobs!
